Chorchori .You can try this with Chapati and paratha also .

- Preperation Time :- 30 Minutes
- Making Time :- 25 Minutes

Ingredients:
- Small Fish (Any type) :- 300 g. (Cleaned by lukewarm water , ½ tsp salt)
- Vegetables –
1 Brinjal (Small Size, Chopped)
½ cup of Radish ( Chopped )
½ cup of Drumsticks (chopped)
- Green Chilies (Hari Mirch):- 4-6 (Sliced)
- Onion :- 2 (Roughly Chopped, Medium Size)
- Lentil Dumplings (Badi) :- 5-6 (Crushed )
Dry Spices
- Onion Seeds (Kalonji) :- ½ tsp
- Salt (Namak) :- According to your Taste
- Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder):- ½ tsp
- Red Chili Powder (Lal Mirch Powder):- ½ tsp
- Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder) :- 1 tsp
Cooking Oil :-
- For Fish Fry :- 4 tbsp
- For Sabzi :- 2 tbsp
Method
- 1. At first Cleaned Small Fishes by lukewarm water and salt. Marinate it with salt and turmeric powder. Keep aside for 5 minutes in room temperature. Wash the vegetables . After that chop All the vegetables and Slit green chilies.
- 2. Then Turn on the gas stove on high flame . place the frying pan . heat it. After heating the pan Add 4 tbsp cooking oil and spread the oil . After 1 minutes drop Some Small fishes carefully and gently. Wait for 1-2 minutes. Now check the lower portion and flip it . After frying keep the fishes into a plate. Lets go for fry next batch and follow the previous method. Do not put all the fishes in first batch.
- 3. Now go for the next step, Add 2 tbsp of cooking oil in the same pan. Add kalonji and saute it.
- 4. Then Add Chopped onion and fry it for 4 minutes on low medium flame. After 4 minutes when onion becomes transparent Add Lentil dumplings (optional). Fry it for 2-3 minutes.
- 5. Then Add Chopped vegetables (Potato, Brinjal , Radish, Drumstick) . Stir it for 2 minutes and mix it with onion.
- 6. Now decrease the flame and its time to add Spices , so Add Turmeric powder, Red Chili Powder, Cumin Powder and Salt. Mix it . Now Cover it for 5 minutes.
- 7. After remove the cover mix it again and checked that vegetables cooked or not. Then add 7-8 tbsp of water and again cover it.
- 8. After that mix it and Add fried small fishes and again cover it for 2 minutes on low flame.
- 9. And the Last Step is turn off the gas stove , remove the lid . because our Delicious Bengali Style fish recipe is ready for Serve.
- 10 . Take a serving plate and Serve it with Steamed Rice. Enjoy your meal with family .
